Job Overview

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as online customer service representatives. As a representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers through various channels, including phone, chat, and email. Your primary objective will be to resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner, while also providing a positive and personalized experience. The program will run from January 13th to April 15th, 2025, and we are looking for individuals who can commit to the full 14 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service through various channels, including phone, chat, and email
  • Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with customers
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing customers with an excellent experience
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve productivity goals and service level commitments
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and changes during tax season to provide accurate and informative support to customers
  • Participate in training sessions and self-paced tutorial videos to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic knowledge of tax laws and principles is essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment
  • Proficiency in engaging with customers through chat
  • Intermediate understanding of operating systems and software environments
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot software-related issues
  • Experience with Windows 10 or 11, AMD or Intel Core Series (I3-I9), and at least 8gb of RAM

Mandatory Requirements

Please note that the following requirements are mandatory for this role:

  • Residing within the borders of the USA is a must
  • Clearing a background check and passing a technical assessment is required
  • Attendance at certification sessions, which includes being on camera throughout the process, is mandatory
  • Meeting the technical requirements, including Windows 10 or 11, AMD or Intel Core Series (I3-I9), at least 8gb of RAM, webcam, wired mouse, USB headset, and wired internet connection, is essential

Conflict of Interest

Please note that the policy prohibits individuals from holding gigs involving Column Tax or Intuit vendors.

Operating Hours

Please note that our operating hours are from 8 am to midnight Eastern Standard Time, 7 days a week. A weekly quota of 30 hours is compulsory, and you must be available to work a minimum of 8 hours per day during peak periods.

Peak Period

Please note that the peak period for this role is from April 9th to 15th, and you must be available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week during this period. You will also be required to work on April 13th, 14th, and 15th, and access a $5 Turbo Bonus Boost hourly.
