About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative for our Fitness Programs, you will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, providing information, and resolving issues in a professional, accurate, and timely manner. Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all blithequark Fitness products and programs, ensuring that you can provide accurate and helpful information to our members.
- Answer incoming calls on our telephone system in a professional, courteous, and timely manner, ensuring that all calls are handled with care and attention to detail.
- Ascertain the nature of the call and record information in the appropriate system, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with our members.
- Provide answers to member questions by following standard policies and procedures, ensuring that all issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
- Interact in a positive, respectful manner and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with internal and external customers, including members, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate the collection of necessary information, including member co-pays or payments when necessary, and forward documentation to the Research Team for follow-up if issues require additional action.
- Analyze information, problems, issues, situations, and procedures to develop effective solutions, ensuring that our members receive the best possible experience with our fitness programs.
- Research unique questions using all available resources and refer difficult issues to your Supervisor for appropriate answers, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
- Handle all issues requiring additional action within the necessary timeframes, ensuring that our members receive timely and effective support.
- Manage your time to ensure that calls are answered within required timeframes and that appropriate follow-up is conducted in a timely manner, maintaining high levels of productivity and efficiency.
- Exercise strict confidentiality in all matters relating to the member experience with the Fitness program, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
- Attend and participate in meetings to discuss issues and foster teamwork among department personnel, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Respond to requests from other blithequark department personnel, contacting clubs and members as required, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and customer service excellence.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required, demonstrating a foundation in education and a commitment to lifelong learning.
- One year of experience performing customer service duties, with inbound call center experience preferred, demonstrating a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
- Experience in healthcare preferred, although not essential, demonstrating an understanding of the healthcare industry and its unique challenges and opportunities.
- Basic experience with MS Office, demonstrating proficiency in using technology to support customer service delivery.
