Our mission is to empower the next generation with the skills, confidence, and character necessary to succeed in an ever-evolving world.The Role: ECE Floating Teacher - Daily 10 am to 2 pmWe're seeking a dedicated, versatile Early Childhood Education (ECE) professional to join our dynamic team as a part-time Floating Teacher. This pivotal role involves supporting our classrooms on a daily basis from 10 am to 2 pm, providing essential breaks for our educators, and stepping in as needed to ensure seamless continuity of care and education. As a Floating Teacher at RMA, you'll be an integral part of our educational ecosystem, working closely with our staff to foster a nurturing, engaging atmosphere that encourages children to explore, learn, and grow.Key Responsibilities:• Classroom Support: Provide relief for classroom teachers, ensuring that our students receive uninterrupted, high-quality care and education.• Engagement with Children: Support children during indoor and outdoor activities, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.• Curriculum Contribution: Participate in the development and implementation of engaging summer camp activities, leveraging your creativity and expertise to enrich our programs.• Language Program Development: If you're a native Spanish speaker, you may have the opportunity to lead a Spanish language program, enhancing our curriculum and providing students with a valuable linguistic and cultural resource.• Maintaining Environments: Assist in maintaining the beautifully prepared environments that are a hallmark of Montessori education, ensuring that our classrooms remain welcoming, organized, and conducive to learning.• Communication and Collaboration: Foster positive, informative relationships with families and staff, collaborating on school policies, procedures, and events as needed.• Professional Development: Attend meetings and training sessions, staying abreast of best practices in ECE and Montessori education to continually enhance our programs.Essential Qualifications and Skills:To excel as an ECE Floating Teacher at RMA, you'll need:• A Colorado Early Childhood Teacher or Assistant Teacher qualification, or a commitment to obtaining this within 6 months.• A schedule that allows for 15 credits of continuing education in ECE, demonstrating your dedication to ongoing professional development.• A deep understanding of and commitment to Montessori Pedagogical Guidelines, aligning your practice with our educational philosophy.• Flexibility, promptness, and a team-oriented mindset, with the ability to adapt to the varied needs of our classrooms.• A positive, forward-thinking attitude, coupled with a passion for creating a supportive, inclusive learning environment.• The ability to undergo early childhood background checks as required.Preferred Qualifications:• Previous experience in a Montessori setting or with a similar educational philosophy.• Native Spanish speaking skills, with the potential to lead a Spanish language program.• Experience with curriculum development and implementation, particularly in a summer camp or similar context.Career Growth and Learning Benefits:At RMA, we're committed to the growth and development of our team members.
