Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Part-Time Customer Support and Service Technician to join our team at blithequark. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing mechanical services and light remanufacturing on soft drink fountain equipment, as well as investigating and diagnosing issues with the equipment. You will also be required to keep all refrigeration equipment in good working condition and perform routine maintenance tasks. This is a part-time opportunity, with a competitive hourly rate of $27/hour, and you will be working 8 hours a day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical services and light remanufacturing on soft drink fountain equipment according to blithequark standards
  • Investigate and diagnose issues with soft drink fountain equipment
  • Maintain all refrigeration equipment in good working condition
  • Move equipment to perform all mechanical services on fountain hardware, including preventive maintenance, programming, and corrective repairs
  • Provide excellent customer support and work collaboratively with clients to resolve issues and address concerns
  • Work flexibly, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as needed

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. The following qualifications and requirements are essential:

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree/certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Technical aptitude to repair machines and equipment
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as needed

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role or as a service technician
