Job Overview
The Data Entry Specialist will play a critical role in our Alternate Investments operations, responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Identify and address breaks recognized between blithequark and fund companies or transfer agents, providing timely resolutions
- Execute corporate activity activities, including settling and reconciling transactions, and processing returns activity
- Analyze complex and escalated issues, performing testing and validation of new technology enhancements and provider changes
- Collaborate with Retail and Institutional Service Teams, utilizing email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce to ensure exceptional customer service
- Embodiment of blithequark's values in daily interactions with fund companies, transfer agents, counterparties, and other external business partners
Duties Analysis
The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for reviewing subscription deals or transfer requests, client/advisor amount exceptions, and regulatory commitments. You will also reconcile business, dividend, and transactions breaks, and review and analyze correct tax coding and corrections of tax coding errors.
Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving
- Internal/External system improvements or issues, providing root cause analysis and recommendations for resolution
- Remediating transfer issues with fund companies or counterparties, ensuring prompt and accurate completion of client investing and dividend requests
- Providing follow-up on alternative investment moves to expedite customer requests or remediate outstanding issues
