About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Part-Time Tier 1 Customer Support Agent to join our remote team. As a champion of customer happiness, satisfaction, and success, you will be the first point of contact for our global clients, providing timely and effective solutions to their queries, technical issues, and logistical concerns. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our participants have a seamless and enriching experience with our online leadership development programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enthusiastically support clients via email, chat, phone, and web-based tools, addressing their technical, logistical, and other needs in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Accurately identify and troubleshoot technical and non-technical issues in a timely manner, considering the diverse environments and scenarios of our global user base.
  • Promptly escalate complex problems to the appropriate internal team members, ensuring that issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of our programs, learning content, and technical products, leveraging this knowledge to provide informed support and guidance to our clients.
  • Continuously strive to improve the quality of our support and service, both internally and externally, contributing to the development of best practices and process enhancements.
  • Monitor live online video conferencing events and provide immediate assistance to participants, ensuring that our programs are delivered smoothly and without interruption.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 1-3 years of work experience, preferably in a customer support capacity with a SaaS company or a product/technology division.
  • Poise and professionalism to respond to high-level executives from around the world, with executive support experience being a significant plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to recognize and adapt to the diverse needs and preferences of our global client base.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (or other CRM), website backend/administrative interfaces, cloud-based tools, and help desk software, with a willingness to learn and master our proprietary systems.
  • Outstanding task management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Fluency in Spanish, French, or Japanese is highly valued, although not required.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered an asset:

  • Experience working with high-level executives or businesses, with a deep understanding of their needs and expectations.
  • Knowledge of SaaS/product or application settings, with experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Familiarity with website backend/administrative interfaces, such as Wordpress or Rails Admin.
  • Exposure to help desk software and CRM systems, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
