This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, develop your skills, and grow your career with blithequark. **Key Responsibilities** * Assist customers with their travel needs (e.g., responding to requests, handling luggage, checking-in passengers and loading flights) in a timely manner. * Work outside in various weather conditions while performing below wing tasks (e.g., transporting equipment and cargo, stacking and offloading luggage and cargo, airplane marshaling, pushing back the airplane, and airplane deicing). * Perform airplane prepping and security checks. * Conduct boarding and door operations (e.g., assisting and coordinating passengers, making announcements, processing baggage and cargo). * Process and secure customer baggage, including recording and maintaining baggage claims for damaged, delayed, or lost luggage. * Stack and offload luggage and cargo using conveyor belts. * At the discretion of management, you may be assigned to perform tasks of varying complexity to ensure total customer satisfaction. * Perform other duties as assigned. **Work-Specific Experience, Education, and Skills** * Required: + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to multitask in a high-speed environment. + Valid driver's license. + Ability to learn and work a modernized reservation system. + Typing speed of at least 25 WPM. + Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently. + Ability to stand for extended periods. + Ability to twist, stoop, squat, reach, and handle. + Ability to perform basic math. + Ability to work an adaptable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. + Ability to participate in paid training that may require temporary travel. + Depending on the work location, ability to obtain USPS Mail Handling Certification. + Ability to acquire airport security status. + Ability to communicate in English. + High school diploma or equivalent. + Minimum age of 18. + Eligibility to work in the U.S. * Preferred: + At least 1 year of customer service or community service experience. **Work-Specific Authority Assumptions** * Embody our values of safety, making the best choice, being compassionate, delivering execution, and being remarkable. **Compensation and Benefits** * Starting rate: USD $20.00/Hr. * Total compensation: blithequark and Skyline Air pay and benefits can vary by organization, location, number of regularly scheduled hours worked, length of service, and business status. * Free travel privileges on blithequark and Skyline Air. * Comprehensive wellness programs, including medical, dental, and vision benefits. * Liberal 401k match program. * Quarterly and annual bonus plans. * Liberal vacation and paid time off. * Equivalent Business Opportunity: We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action (AA) employer that is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
