About the Role

We are seeking motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as an Area Manager, a role that embodies leadership, mentorship, and a passion for delivering high-quality customer experiences. As an Area Manager at blithequark, you will be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce, ensuring their engagement and motivation during shifts to maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. Your role will be pivotal in upholding our customer expectations, guaranteeing that orders are delivered on time and to the right location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve operational excellence.
  • Operational Management: Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises, ensuring alignment with blithequark's operational standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with all support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop and implement plans that meet business objectives.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, with the capacity to stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
  • Adaptability: Work effectively in environments with varying noise levels, temperatures, and weather conditions, including outside loading departments and sites with stairs that require continuous climbing and descending.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To excel as an Area Manager at blithequark, you should possess a strong background in customer service and operations management, with a proven track record of leading teams and driving results.
