Job Summary

As a Retail Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional shopping experiences, driving sales growth, and fostering a positive store environment. Your primary responsibilities will include providing friendly and efficient customer service, assisting with merchandise duties, and ensuring a well-merchandised and in-stock store. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver friendly and efficient customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Assist customers in locating products, providing solutions, and offering recommendations to drive sales growth and enhance the shopping experience
  • Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling to standards and ensuring accurate processing of transactions
  • Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, completing enrollments and promoting loyalty initiatives
  • Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey, gathering feedback, and using insights to improve the shopping experience
  • Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS), to ensure seamless integration and exceptional customer service
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes, maintaining store recovery standards and ensuring a well-merchandised and in-stock store
  • Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned, analyzing sales data, and making recommendations to drive business growth
  • Support shrink and safety programs, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements
  • Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production, developing skills and knowledge to provide expert advice and support to customers

Essential Qualifications

  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods, move throughout the store, and perform regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, team members, and management in a professional and respectful manner
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately process transactions and handle cash
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a retail environment, with knowledge of store operations, merchandise management, and customer service principles
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner

  • Basic knowledge of Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and SFS, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and systems
