We're partnering with this growing studio to find a skilled animator who can rig and animate characters for Unreal Engine, with a strong focus on melee combat and fighting animation. What You’ll Do: Rig and skin 3D characters for animation and implementation in Unreal Engine Animate fluid, stylized movement and melee combat sequences for enemies and the player character Collaborate with the design and programming teams to ensure animations enhance gameplay feel Own the character animation pipeline from concept to in-engine polish Solve technical animation challenges and optimize rigs for performance What We’re Looking For: Proven experience rigging and animating characters for video games (shipped titles a big plus!) Strong portfolio demonstrating melee combat animations Deep experience with Unreal Engine animation systems (State Machines, Anim Blueprints, etc.) Solid knowledge of rigging tools like Maya, Blender, or similar Understanding of gameplay mechanics and how animation supports player experience Passion for video games and a gamer’s intuition for what feels good in-game Self-starter mindset; able to work independently in a remote team environment Work from Anywhere This is a fully remote position.
