A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse skilled in Telemetry nursing. This role offers the chance to provide high-quality patient care in a well-equipped medical center located in Des Moines, IA. Nurses in this position will utilize their expertise in cardiac monitoring and patient assessment to support patients experiencing a range of cardiac conditions. Location: Des Moines, IA Des Moines is a vibrant city known for its strong healthcare community and diverse cultural attractions. The city offers a comfortable living environment with ample recreational activities, friendly neighborhoods, and excellent amenities, making it a great place to practice nursing. Schedule: • 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM shifts • Every other weekend work required (EOW) Responsibilities: • Monitor and interpret telemetry data to identify cardiac abnormalities • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and patient education • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans • Respond promptly and effectively to patient emergencies • Document patient information accurately and maintain clear communication with healthcare providers Qualifications: • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with Telemetry experience • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities • Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care This contract position allows for valuable experience in an acute care setting, with opportunities to expand clinical knowledge and contribute to patient recovery.
