Identity & Access Management Intern – Information Security
Join Westfield as an IAM Intern to support enterprise IT security systems and gain hands-on experience in identity and access management.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
• Assisting with designing, implementing, and maintaining IAM solutions including user access controls, authentication protocols, privileged access management, and RBAC-based access provisioning
• Supporting access management processes such as user access requests, account provisioning, entitlement reviews, and automation initiatives
• Working with identity tools and contributing to scripting and tool development to streamline IAM tasks
• Collaborating with experienced analysts and other interns across departments on projects ranging from data analysis to mentoring
• Participating in training programs, workshops, and internship events including Lunch and Learns
• Conducting research, gathering data, analyzing information, and preparing reports or presentations
• Maintaining accurate records and documenting progress
• Demonstrating professionalism, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
• For field roles only: driving/traveling at least 25% of working time as required
About You
The company is looking for:
• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship
• High School Diploma or GED and/or commensurate experience
• Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity (preferred), Information Security & Assurance (preferred), Computer Science, Network Administration, Information Technology, or related field
• Classwork or experience with programming languages; PowerShell preferred, Python familiarity a plus
• For field roles only: valid driver’s license and driving record meeting company standards
• Strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate customer focus and decision quality
