Senior Chemist Consultant, Hard Powder Color Cosmetics Expert (Root Touch-Up Powder) - Contract to Hire
Description
We are reformulating a hard powder root touch-up to meet cleaner standards, but ingredient restrictions have created performance challenges. We need an independent cosmetic chemist to review our manufacturer’s chemists’ work and provide an expert perspective.
Scope of Work
One-hour consultation.
Review ingredient lists (ILs) and sample adjustments created by our manufacturer.
Advise whether the factory is doing everything possible under the constraints.
Identify missed opportunities and suggest alternative approaches.
Requirements
Expertise in hard powder / pressed powder colour cosmetics.
Strong knowledge of coverage, payoff, and clean formulation challenges.
Clear communicator, fluent in English.
Engagement
Remote role.
Initial scope: one-hour consultation.
Future collaboration is possible.
