Job Summary The Sr. Communications Specialist will play a key role in shaping strategic communications that support Quaker Houghton’s global business initiatives. In this fast-paced, collaborative role, you’ll lead campaign development from concept to execution – partnering across regions to deliver impactful, multi-channel content that drives business objectives. This position reports to the Global Director of Communications. What you will do • Lead the consultation and execution of strategic communications for diverse business initiatives—scoping work, identifying challenges and objectives, and delivering integrated, multi-channel campaigns. • Manage end-to-end project execution, including planning, content development, writing, distribution (often in multiple languages), and vendor coordination. • Collaborate with global subject matter experts to shape compelling narratives and deliver content across formats such as articles, announcements, presentations, videos, multimedia, and promotional messaging for internal and external platforms. • Uphold brand standards and ensure consistency, clarity, and professionalism across all communications. • Build and navigate internal networks across business lines and regions to align with the company’s editorial calendar and measure content performance against defined objectives. What we look for • Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate communications. • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills along with strong attention to detail. • Demonstrate project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at one time, understand priorities, and meet deadlines. • Strong computer skills. Common platforms include Microsoft 365, Adobe, Asana, and Poppulo. • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while effectively collaborating across cross-functional teams and take direction as needed. • Experience networking within an organization to find needed resources and build strong relationships virtually and at all levels of the organization. • A creative thinker with a sincere interest in other cultures.
