Derivatives & Options-Markets Writer — Exec Ghostwrite + Monthly Commentary (Contract)
We’re a financial-services content agency supporting an enterprise-grade client. We need a writer who can:
Take a mostly-written derivatives piece and (a) add a conclusion + (b) rewrite the full piece in a clean, concise “Axios-style” voice (≈ 1,000 words) for broad use.
Transform a data-heavy macro/derivatives slide deck with lots of charts/data into a tight, narrative-driven write-up (≈ 1,000 words) that highlights key insights.
Deliver one fresh net-new commentary piece (~1,000 words) per month — topical, timely, and aligned with derivatives / volatility / options market events.
What You’ll Deliver in December:
- Net-new conclusion for mostly-written derivatives article
- Rewritten derivatives article

- Demonstrated ability to take source material (partial drafts, slide decks, internal data) + SME input and transform into tight polished content.
- Clear, concise writing style — able to distill complex financial topics into direct, audience-appropriate narrative (retail and institutional tone).
- Fast turnaround, reliability, ability to adhere to tight month-end deadlines.
To Apply — Include:
- One or two writing samples in the derivatives/options/volatility space (especially if they include data-heavy content or rewrites).
- Confirmation that you’re available now and can commit to deliver the three December pieces under a tight schedule.
