Manager, Brokerage Risk – Dispute Resolution
Job Description:
• Serve as the first point of escalation for complex brokerage and transaction-related issues, complaints, or disputes.
• Investigate agent, broker, and client complaints to determine root causes, assess risk exposure, and recommend solutions.
• Manage and resolve commission disputes, ethics complaints, and potential policy or legal violations in partnership with brokers.
• Act as liaison between Brokerage, Legal, and Compliance teams, escalating only matters requiring legal interpretation.
• Identify risk patterns or emerging issues and recommend process or policy improvements.
• Coach Broker Team members on conflict resolution, documentation, and communication best practices.
• Maintain and refine the Broker Dispute Resolution Playbook to ensure consistent and compliant handling of cases.
• Support Brokerage Leadership in driving consistent risk management practices across markets.
Requirements:
• 7+ years of experience in residential real estate brokerage, including leadership, broker, or compliance roles.
• Active real estate broker license strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• Additional certifications or mediation training are advantageous.
