Klaviyo Email + SMS Designer & Lifecycle Specialist (CPG/Food Brand)- Long Term Opportunity

Renée’s Specialties Remote, Contract / Part-Time Renée’s Specialties is a bold, gourmet popcorn company creating handcrafted flavors like Cheesy Caramel Collision™ and White Cheddar Caramel Collision™. We’re expanding nationally through Amazon, Shopify, and DTC channels — with a major 2026 growth plan underway. Our Klaviyo install is complete, but we need someone who can elevate visual design, branding, lifecycle strategy, and now SMS. Most applicants can push campaigns. We need someone who can create premium, high-converting emails and SMS that look and feel like a serious brand. Role Summary You will own email and SMS design, setup, and lifecycle performance inside Klaviyo. This is not a basic operator role. You must combine strong design ability with strong lifecycle execution. ResponsibilitiesEmail Lifecycle • Audit existing flows, templates, and segmentation. • Redesign all core flows with premium visual templates: • Welcome • Abandoned Cart • Browse Abandon • Post-Purchase • Win-Back • Produce high-quality email creatives: graphics, layout, typography, product presentation. • Build ongoing campaigns that match brand quality and drive revenue. • Improve deliverability, segmentation, predictive audiences, and reporting. SMS Setup and Management • Configure and verify our dedicated toll-free SMS number in Klaviyo. • Import and validate SMS consent for our existing customer list. • Build foundational SMS flows: • Welcome • Abandoned Cart • Post-Purchase • Win-Back • Create concise, high-impact SMS campaigns aligned with email. • Implement compliant opt-in strategies across site, checkout, and popups. • Monitor deliverability, CTR, and revenue attribution. Required Skills • Strong email design ability • Must submit a portfolio of real, live email designs. • Ability to produce polished, consumer-grade graphics. • Advanced Klaviyo skills • Flow logic, conditional splits, dynamic blocks, predictive analytics. • SMS setup and compliance • Experience verifying toll-free numbers, managing compliance, importing SMS consent. • Brand fluency for CPG/food • Conversion-focused thinking • Works independently with minimal oversight. Nice to Have • CPG, food, or specialty retail experience. • Photography or product editing skills. • Strong A/B testing experience. What Success Looks Like • Emails and SMS both match brand quality. • Flows produce consistent revenue. • Campaigns show uplift in CTR and conversions. • Visual design is premium every time. • They raise the standard, not just maintain it. Please include: • Portfolio with real Klaviyo email examples • Examples of SMS or short-form marketing • Hourly rate • Brief overview of your design tools and workflow Engagement Details • Contract Type: Remote, hourly. • Start Date: Immediate. • Duration: Phase 1 (setup) week, Phase 2 ongoing monthly optimization. • Reports to: CMO. • Compensation: Dependent on expertise. 10 hours per week to start; grow to a full-time position opportunity.
