Sr. Full Stack Developer, (FT/REMOTE) (USC or GC Reqd)
About the position
Responsibilities
• Design and develop responsive, intuitive user interfaces using the latest versions of NextJS, React, and TypeScript
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI
• Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases to design efficient data models and queries
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines in an Azure DevOps environment
• Containerize applications using Docker and related technologies
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality through testing and documentation
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
Requirements
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in frontend development using NextJS, React, and TypeScript
• Extensive experience with Python backend development, particularly with FastAPI
• Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Demonstrated experience with Azure cloud services and DevOps practices
• Proficient understanding of Docker containerization and microservices architecture
• Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Nice-to-haves
• Experience with .NET development
• Healthcare industry background or experience
• Strong understanding and practical implementation of authentication/authorization systems (OAuth, OIDC, JWT)
• Experience developing HIPAA-compliant healthcare applications
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as HL7 FHIR
• Experience integrating with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Knowledge of security best practices and data privacy regulations
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks
