Your Pen, Our Plot: Let’s Create Romance Magic
My wife loves romance fiction, so we are looking for a ghostwriter to take our ideas to a happy ending: the well-written books she enjoys most.
Our projects may be unique: our novel ideas have been fleshed out start-to-finish with 6,000-11,000 words, and have been vetted by writing rubrics we have assembled. We think our outlook on AI is realistic: it gets us started, but quality fiction needs the human touch to be satisfying.
Tasks for our ghostwriter include:
• Evaluate the presented plot and provide ideas to carry the novel to a satisfying conclusion.
• Evaluate main characters for greater development, and secondary characters for “just right” presences, and deliver these additions.
• Provide locale, setting, climate and history as needed to support the story in the reader’s imagination.
• Emphasis on “show, don’t tell.”
• AI is awful with metaphors, adjectives and drama levels. Clean up as needed.
• We need someone to write the steamy parts and ensure their best placement.
• Add to the existing content to reach desired word counts of 10,000 plus for the lead magnet novel and 30,000 each for the three main novels.
Compensation: To provide incentive for the ghostwriter to act as a “second set of eyes” on the project in addition to the writing, we are paying the ghostwriter for the words we, McHewitt Press, bring to each project.
