Job Summary
Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist to join our growing remote team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for supporting various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and HR policy implementation. This is a full-time, remote position offering the flexibility to work from home while being an integral part of a forward-thinking, people-first organization.
Key Responsibilities

Support the full recruitment cycle: job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.

Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees and managers.

Maintain and update employee records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality.

Coordinate performance management processes and assist with performance reviews.

Assist with the development, implementation, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Maintain HR metrics and prepare regular reports for management.

• Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance.

High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Proficiency in HR software and tools (e.g., HRIS, ATS, Microsoft Office Suite).

• Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar HR role.

Experience in remote or distributed work environments is preferred.

Proven experience in handling sensitive employee matters and managing HR processes end-to-end.
• Working Hours
• *
Full-time position: 40 hours per week.
• *
Monday to Friday, flexible working hours with availability during core business hours (9 AM – 5 PM CST).

100% remote – work from anywhere with a stable internet connection.
