The Role
Casa Nueva University is seeking Founding Board Members who share a deep commitment to education, equity, and global impact.
As a Board Member, you will play a vital role in shaping the vision, structure, and sustainability of a new kind of university — one that bridges the United States and Latin America through accessible, bilingual, and purpose-driven learning.
This is a volunteer (non-paid) position for individuals passionate about helping raise funds, expand partnerships, and guide Casa Nueva into its next stage of growth and accreditation.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as an active ambassador for Casa Nueva’s mission and programs.
• Help identify and engage donors, grants, and corporate partners aligned with our cause.
• Provide strategic input on governance, compliance, and program development.
• Attend quarterly virtual board meetings and occasional special sessions.
• Contribute your professional expertise (education, business, nonprofit, law, tech, healthcare, or philanthropy).
Ideal Candidates
• Experienced in education, social impact, entrepreneurship, fundraising, or community leadership.
• Comfortable working in a mission-driven, bilingual, cross-cultural environment.
• Passionate about helping displaced or marginalized individuals rebuild their lives through education.
• Collaborative, visionary, and generous with ideas, networks, and time.
Spanish or Portuguese fluency is helpful but not required.
