Assistant Professor – Public Health Position Job Title and Position Details We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor to join the Health Science Professions Department at Angelo State University. Key Responsibilities: • Teach public health courses in the Master of Public Health program and the Health Science Professions program. • Prepare course syllabi and materials, assign grades, and develop innovative learning experiences. • Recruit and advise students, participate in committees, conduct course and program assessment, and engage in research. Requirements: • Doctoral degree in public health or a related field (master's degree in public health is required). • Experience teaching public health courses and knowledge of higher education principles, practices, and procedures. • Strong written and verbal communication and collaborative organizational skills, as well as knowledge and experience with technology sufficient to teach assigned courses.
