Social Media Manager, Contract
About the Role
We're looking for a Social Media Manager (Contractor) to help shape and amplify Pacaso's brand voice across multiple social platforms. This person will lead day-to-day content strategy, creation, publishing, and community engagement on Meta (Instagram + Facebook), X (Twitter), TikTok and LinkedIn - ensuring our brand remains best-in-class in the luxury real estate and lifestyle space.
The ideal candidate is a strategic storyteller and skilled creator who thrives at the intersection of brand and performance. You'll collaborate closely with the marketing team, creative partners, and leadership to craft scroll-stopping content that drives engagement, elevates perception, and brings the Pacaso experience to life through compelling video, imagery, and copy.
What You Will Do
• Own Pacaso's social media execution and contribute to strategy across Meta (Instagram + Facebook), X, LinkedIn, and TikTok
• Plan, create, and publish daily content that aligns with Pacaso's brand voice and visual identity.
• Concept, produce, and edit short-form video content (Reels, Stories, TikToks) in partnership with the creative team; manage light video editing and post-production.
• Manage the social content calendar, ensuring an always-on presence that reflects brand priorities, seasonal campaigns, and key moments.
• Design and edit branded social graphics using Canva, ensuring all visuals adhere to Pacaso's style guidelines.
• Monitor and engage with Pacaso's social communities - responding to comments, DMs, and conversations in an authentic, brand-aligned way.
• Analyze performance data to optimize content strategy, identify trends, and surface insights that inform future creative and campaign development.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with PR, creative, paid media, and partnerships to amplify launches, media coverage, and influencer content.
• Maintain social media best practices and evolve Pacaso's presence in line with emerging platform features and trends.
About You
• 5+ years of professional experience managing brand social media accounts, ideally in real estate, travel, or luxury lifestyle categories.
• Expert-level understanding of Meta, X, LinkedIn, and TikTok with proven results driving engagement and follower growth.
• Strong video editing skills, comfortable producing and optimizing short-form content for social platforms.
• Creative, resourceful, and nimble - able to ideate, shoot, edit, and post independently when needed.
• Design and edit branded social graphics using Canva, ensuring all visuals adhere to Pacaso's aesthetic and style guidelines.
• Skilled in analytics and social performance tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Sprout, Later, or similar).
• Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with a sharp eye for brand tone, pacing, and community resonance.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Passionate about luxury brands, travel, and home design - with an instinct for what resonates in the social space.
Contract Details
• Contract position with flexible hours with an estimated 20-30 hours a week; remote-friendly within the U.S.
• Compensation based on experience and scope of engagement, $30- $40 hourly rate
• Opportunities for project extensions and ongoing collaboration with Pacaso's brand and creative teams.
• Since this is a contract position, benefits are not included
