Auto Loan Underwriter/Credit Analyst

A rapidly growing lending services group is hiring multiple FULLY REMOTE Auto Loan Underwriters/Leasing Specialists to support its expanding nationwide auto lending portfolio. This role is ideal for experienced underwriters who thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and are looking to join a collaborative, high-performance remote team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with flexibility, strong leadership, and long-term growth into senior or supervisory roles. Compensation & Perks: • Hourly pay: $25–$29/hour • 100% remote • Equipment provided (laptop, dual monitors) • Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM MST - FULLY REMOTE • Strong promotion-from-within culture with advancement opportunities • Competitive benefits offered upon conversion (401k with 8% match, tuition reimbursement, PTO, holiday and cultural celebrations, and more) • Must reside in: Colorado, Illinois, Texas, Arizona, Florida, Washington, Georgia, Virginia, or Hawaii What You’ll Do: • Underwrite auto loans and leases for 100+ credit union clients nationwide • Communicate with dealers and credit union partners to negotiate loan terms • Render decisions based on guidelines, including DTI, LTV, PTI, credit reports, dealer risk, and other criteria • Apply decisions across multiple origination systems and document rationale • Follow up on approvals and assist with funding to maximize conversion • Monitor dealer productivity and support the improvement of look-to-book ratios • Partner with fraud and compliance teams during loan review and approvals • Participate in internal process improvement and software testing projects • Collaborate with a team of 40+ underwriters and supervisors across the country • Uphold underwriting SLAs and deliver timely, accurate decisions in a dynamic environment Who We’re Looking For: • 5+ years of underwriting or credit analysis experience in indirect auto lending or other lending environments REQUIRED • Experience with indirect auto, direct auto, or even consumer lending experience. - REQUIRED • Familiarity with credit union clients or financial institutions (preferred) • Prior experience with systems like L360, MeridianLink, or Ideal (HIGHLY preferred) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) 8% Match • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Parental leave • Vision insurance Education: • High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: • Indirect Auto Underwriting: 3 years (Preferred) • Direct Auto Underwriting: 3 years (Preferred) • Meridian Link software: 3 years (Preferred) • L360 software: 3 years (Preferred) • Auto Underwriting: 4 years (Required) Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
