Engagement Manager (Account Management)

Remote, USA Full-time Posted 2025-11-24
About the Role We’re hiring an Engagement Manager to help scale our Growth Agency. This is not your typical account management role — we’re looking for someone who thinks beyond playbooks and is deeply curious, driven by first-principles thinking, and excited to help define what modern service delivery looks like in the age of AI. You’ll be the main daily contact for our client counterparts and ensure we always deliver on time, and work towards results. You’ll work closely with Account Directors and Editors to ensure our content strategy and weekly deliverables are always in sync. You might be a fit if you… • Have 2–5 years of experience in account strategy, account management, program management, or customer success — ideally in a content agency or content-focused SaaS company. • Have a proven track record of results across your book of accounts (CSAT, GRR, NRR, etc). • Are an excellent communicator with a track record of building strong client relationships. • Are highly organized, detail-driven, and great at managing competing priorities. • Thrive in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments and love building from scratch. • Are intellectually curious, and have heavily experimented with or implemented AI and automation tools in your daily work. What you’ll do Customer relationships: • Be the first point of contact for everything. • Run weekly or biweekly customer meetings, owning all regular communications. • Proactively communicate on status, performance, and opportunities. • Build trust through consistent delivery and first-principles thinking. • Consistently keep a pulse on the account health. Content Strategy: • Work with our editors to define content clusters that drive growth. • Connect content production to business outcomes. • Analyze performance and adjust course if needed. • Keep an ear out for expansion opportunities and bring in Account Directors for strategic guidance when needed. Work Execution: • Work with managing editors on production planning and quality. • Brief our in-house specialists (SEO, AEO, publishers) with clear asks before they become fires. • Ensure deliverables stay on schedule and hit contractual volume targets. • Remove blockers before they delay delivery.
