This role will be 100 % remote We’d like the candidates to have longitudinal patient level data analysis experience like health insurance claims and electronic health records in oncology using SQL, SAS or R. Experience Level = 1-3 Years Candidate can be any where with in US Shift: 9:00 AM -4:00 PM CST (Should be available for meetings and discussion) Part of epidemiology data analysis team Manager's update • Looking for someone with advanced programming language and oncology area/data • SQL sas and R programming • Support Oncology and epidemiology • Support specially oncology • Advanced or intermediate oncology skills • Directly working with stakeholders of the oncology group • Working on analytics data • Working with abstract and manuscript • Phd is really preferred with 2 to 3 years if experience • This is not SAS programmer role this is epi role • Working publication and abstracts • SQL coding sas is a have • R programming is plus • Some experience in Claims, EHR • 2 to 3 projects or 2 to years of experience • Supporting the Oncology department, worked with stakeholders, Oncology epidemiology group • Position is more focused on coding and data analytics • The candidate will do coding and data analytics work • Not looking for specific numbers of publications • PHARMD or MD degree will also work if from another country • Epidemiology or health side degree • Work in the Epidemiology department • Collaborate with stakeholders • Listen to others and share the suggestion • epidemiology or HEOR is must have • A candidate with oncology is really preferred • Data system experience • Industry experience is not required • Any experience with academia or CRO experience • Sas certification is not required • Database experience (AI data, quota data, another EHR data) then it will be considered Top skills • Proficient with programming language: SQL, SAS and R • Masters or PhD degree (exp: 2 yrs with masters) • know real world data (claims, EHR or registry data) Description • SQL, SAS, R programming exp needed • Fresh PhD grads will also work • Looking for someone interested in quantative research • If a candidate has worked as a epidemiologist and has worked on claims and EHR data but has a degree in bioinformatics or any other filed then that will work • Master’s or PhD in quantative health outcomes research / PhD/MD/PharmD with experience in the field of epidemiology, outcomes research, public health, heath care service, pharmacy administration, pharmacoepidemiology or health economics, pharmaceutical economics degree or related discipline • SQL and SAS to do analysis • Will work on Claims and electronic health records • Use all data that have been loaded in-house • R programming exp • Not looking for pure programmer / Statistics / Biostatistics’ individual • Not looking for statics or biostatistics degree • Master’s with more yrs exp needed • Therapeutic area: immunology, oncology, neuroscience • Claims and electronic health data exp needed (use real world data) Job Description: Major responsibilities include a) contributing to data analysis plan documentation and management and systematic programming approach to derive clinical variables and outcomes from real-world data; • Operationalizing relevant clinical variables and measures with minimal technical oversight; • Preparing relevant tables and figures and contributing to the interpretation of results; • Understanding strengths and weaknesses of specific databases; • Delivering data analysis results and findings to epidemiologists or cross-functional members as necessary. This person should be able to do comprehensive literature reviews for real-world data methodology and coding algorithms, and provide insights into real-world data, analysis tools, and epidemiology study concepts and protocols/proposals. Responsibilities: • Understand general to advanced epidemiology research techniques and apply appropriate research methods to answer research questions relating to drug safety • Perform SAS programming at an advanced level to operationalize clinical concepts and measures in oncology • Contribute to the design of observational studies using real-world data through data exploration • Document and manage data analysis plan and analyze specific epidemiology databases to prepare results in relevant tables, figures, and visualizations • Do comprehensive literature review for analytics methodology and coding algorithms related to real-world data • Communicate with RWD vendors to coordinate questions for technical support on analytic and data quality issues for RWD sources that are in-licensed by Client. • Act as a knowledge developer, creating a repository of best practices around RWD, establish design principles and standards to ensure consistency across analytical work projects • Anticipate and communicate potential issues that could impact timelines or quality and propose solutions to mitigate these risks. Experience/Skills: • MPH or MS degree in Epidemiology, biostatistics or related field. Ph.D. is preferred. • With 4-5 years of epidemiology and/or public health experience with a Master degree or 1-2 years of experience with a Ph.D. degree. Pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred. • Proficient with SAS, SQL, R, or related statistical software or other data analysis tools for data analysis, modeling, and visualization. • SAS Advanced Programming certificate is preferred • Familiar with real-world data (e.g. oncology EMRs, health insurance claims) concepts and structures. Extensive experience in manipulating and analyzing these databases is required. • Knowledge and experience in data analysis in oncology is strongly preferred. • Generate tables, listings, and graphs for compound projects. • Responsible for the validation and quality assurance of any output produced. • Generate and review validated table, listings, and graph output meeting the needs of Clinical Projects. Prefer candidate with clinical experience. • SAS program experience required.
