Position: Docket & Litigation Support Specialist (National Law Firm) Location: NYC or remote (must live in NY, NJ, CT, IL, NC, FL, MD) Comp Package: Salary up to 115k, paid overtime, year-end bonus, 401k, benefits, etc Summary for Docket & Litigation Support Specialist: Join a dynamic legal team, supporting the Managing Attorney’s Office (MAO) with litigation calendaring, electronic court filings, and docket management. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and knowledge of federal and New York court rules. You will play a critical role in ensuring deadlines are met, filings are compliant, and case teams are fully informed—while thriving in a fast-paced legal environment. Responsibilities for Docket & Litigation Support Specialist: • Maintain and oversee a centralized litigation calendar and case management system, ensuring timely updates and reminders for deadlines, filings, and court appearances • Monitor federal and state court dockets (primarily NY) using CourtAlert, PACER, and other docketing tools • Review draft filings for compliance with court formatting and procedural rules and coordinate corrections with attorneys and staff • File legal documents electronically in federal and state courts, including after business hours when necessary • Serve as a liaison with court clerks, process servers, and support staff to resolve docketing issues • Assist with onboarding new matters, updating docketing profiles, and advising case teams on procedural requirements Qualifications for Docket & Litigation Support Specialist: • Bachelor’s degree required • 3+ years of experience in a law firm or managing attorney’s office • Strong knowledge of New York and federal court rules and filing procedures; familiarity with CourtAlert preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail • Highly organized, able to manage multiple deadlines, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
