[Remote] Church Growth Officer - Evangelical/Protestant

Communio is a nonprofit that equips churches with outreach tools and ministry models to strengthen relationships, marriages, and families. The Church Growth Officer is responsible for helping pastors grow their congregations and serve communities through a consultative sales approach. Responsibilities • Manage the full sales cycle with individual churches, from discovery to close. • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets across assigned territories or verticals. • Lead high-trust conversations with pastors, ministry staff, and lay leaders. • Customize presentations and proposals to demonstrate ROI and ministry impact. • Use HubSpot CRM to track leads, follow-up tasks, call activity, and deal progression. • Coordinate closely with marketing, events, and SDR teams to convert warm leads from campaigns and conferences. • Represent Communio at local and regional church events and conferences. • Follow up on leads from conferences, denominational partners, or campaign activity. Skills • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in B2B, SaaS, or nonprofit sectors. • Strong understanding of church decision-making processes and ministry culture. • Ability to manage a high volume of calls, meetings, and presentations with consistency. • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and follow-up skills. • Passion for helping churches grow through stronger families and Christ-centered outreach. • Experience working in a church or faith-based nonprofit setting. • Familiarity with CRM platforms—especially HubSpot. • Relationships or experience within evangelical networks or denominational offices. • A personal faith in Jesus Christ and alignment with Communio’s ecumenical, trinitarian theology.
