Shopify App Developer — High-Performance eCommerce App Experience Required
We are seeking an expert Shopify app developer to support a new integration project for a payments/loyalty product. The ideal candidate has multiple case studies building high-performing Shopify apps (merchant-facing or consumer-facing).
Our project requires:
- Custom integration with Stripe
- A front-end UX component inside Shopify
- Handling cashback/loyalty logic
- Potential integration through the Shopify Checkout Extensibility framework
Requirements:
✔ 3–5+ years Shopify app development
✔ Strong understanding of Shopify’s API ecosystem: Admin API, Storefront API, Functions, Checkout Extensibility
✔ Experience building apps that handle incentives, loyalty, rewards, cart logic, or checkout enhancements
✔ Documentation and clean code practices
✔ Solid communication and weekly updates
Bonus:
- Experience with fintech, cashback systems, payment rails, or post-purchase logic
- Experience submitting apps to the Shopify App Store
