[Remote] Classic TV Journalist

ScreenRant is the #1 entertainment website and publishes up-to-the-minute news on blockbuster movies, TV shows, video games, comic books, music and other forms of entertainment. They are seeking an experienced Classic TV Journalist to create original high-quality content about classic TV shows and engage with the editorial team.
Responsibilities
• Write in ScreenRant’s house style following the training and peer mentorship period
• Knowledge about classic TV shows from different decades, ranging from I Love Lucy to Squid Game.
• Brainstorm, pitch, and develop original content ideas
• Communicate actively with the Editorial Team
Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, English Literature, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience working with a credible digital publication
• A broad working knowledge of the sector you’re applying for
• A quick learner with a strong sense of urgency and drive
• An excellent writer in the English language free of grammatical and spelling errors
• The ability to write high quality articles with fast turnaround times
• Comfortable working in a fully remote environment
