Cost and Pricing Analyst

Description: • Responsible for the calculation and analysis of budget and cost proposals. • Provide regular analysis of cost and budget assumptions against actual spend. • Consolidate specifications from proposal team for capturing all cost requirements. • Lead proposal budget process leveraging approved cost model. • Provide input for formulation of cost model assumptions, using past actual data. • Provide guidance and feedback to bid teams in assembling proposal budgets. • Complete templates requested by prospects accompanying formal RFP. • Work on new and existing client bids and renewals. • Develop budget for change orders or other out of scope work as requested. • Demonstrate understanding of proposal cost elements and concepts. • Develop pro-forma P&L based on elements in the proposal. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred • Must possess advance MS Excel skills to include PivotTables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and Data Tables. • Advanced skills in MS Word are a plus. • Prior experience in developing proposal response budgets, collaborating with proposal teams in a service business or industry preferred. • Must be proficient in multi-tasking. • Experience in Cost Estimating, Cost Analysis, and/or Proposal Pricing required • Managed services pricing experience preferred • Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred • Certified Pricing Professional (CPP) would be a plus • Experience creating and maintaining a controlled documentation system, record retention, and information services functions including electronic records retention processes.
