Job title: Content Marketing Manager- Corporate Blog Company: Cornerstone OnDemand Job description: We're looking for a Content Marketing Manager- Corporate Blog We are seeking a Content Marketing Manager who can take our company blog to the next level. After relaunching our company website in 2021, Cornerstone is rebuilding its blog presence (called the Cornerstone Resource Corner) and is ready for someone to take the reins and turn our blog into a well-oiled, lead-generating machine. In this role you will…. • Lead the editorial calendar for the blog, writing blog posts that align with our company messaging and thought leadership pillars. • Manage a bench of freelancers and guest writers and collaborating closely with our Web Development team to track analytics and optimize the blog. • Collaborate closely with our Social Media Manager to ensure content is promoted on our social channels as well. • Collaborate with members across Marketing to identify topics to cover and additional content assets to promote via the blog. • Have a crystal-clear understanding of the company's brand voice, has a solid understanding of SEO optimization and CMS applications, and is motivated to strategize and implement new techniques to drive greater traffic to the blog. Position is remote in the U.S. and requires flexibility to collaborate with teammates in various time zones. You've got what it takes if you have… • 4-6 years of experience writing for a corporate blog, 1-2 of those years managing the blog (B2B and technology background a plus) • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications or Journalism (or a related field)or equivalent experience • Extremely strong writing and editing skills • Experience managing freelance and guest writers • Experience with multi-media content preferred, e. creating video content, infographics and other visuals • Experience with Web development and SEO optimization for blogs • Experience managing a company newsletter a plus • Proven project leadership and strong time-management skills • Strong collaboration skills across Marketing functions, including Analyst Relations, Field Marketing, Digital Marketing and Creative/Brand • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Critical-thinker and problem-solver • Self-starter visionary with a can-do, positive mindset • Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment • Consideration for privacy and security obligations An extra dose of awesome if you have… • Experience working in B2B technical company • HR technology company experience • Experience with Wrike tool for project management • Experience with Sanity tool for publishing blog posts #LI-PR1 #LI-Remote Our Culture: Our mission is to empower people, businesses and communities.
