Google Ads & Analytics Specialist (Campaign optimization, GDPR Compliance, Technical Fixes) - Contract to Hire

We are looking for an experienced Google Ads and Analytics specialist to optimize our existing ad campaigns and ensure our technical infrastructure is set up correctly. The campaign has already been set up, so we need someone with deep technical expertise, especially in tracking, conversions, and GDPR-compliant implementation. Our campaign has had issues generating conversions compared to previous years since we switched to an updated website at the beginning of the year. Scope of Work 1. Google Ads Optimization Review current Google Ads campaigns and identify opportunities for improvement Optimize targeting, keywords, conversion tracking, and overall performance Identify and resolve discrepancies 2. Technical Tracking & Conversion Setup Ensure that all tracking tags, conversion events, and remarketing tags are correctly implemented Fix any missing or incorrectly placed tracking codes across all website pages Validate tracking using Tag Manager, GA4 DebugView, and Google’s Tag Assistant 3. Google Analytics (GA4) Setup Set up/ refine GA4 properties Configure events, conversions, audiences, and reporting Ensure data accuracy and proper connection to Google Ads 4. GDPR Compliance & Website Requirements Fix cookie banner code implementation to ensure proper consent mode Ensure tracking only fires based on user consent Make recommendations to bring site tracking into full GDPR compliance Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
