About the position
The Influencer Marketing Manager will lead and enhance the influencer marketing activities for a retail client, focusing on developing a paid influencer program and managing relationships with content creators. This role is crucial for strategizing content angles, overseeing creator content workflows, and ensuring high-performing content that drives customer engagement and revenue growth. The position is fully remote and offers flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities
• Manage the content creator and influencer programs including sourcing, contracting, content briefing, deadline adherence, invoicing/payment, day to day communications and rights management
• Oversee the collection, organization and use of user-generated content - continually feeding the ad pipeline
• Develop content ideas in partnership with paid media agency and internal marketing team
• Recruit and manage content creators to produce videos/static assets
• Manage and organize all content assets, including rights usage terms so they are always using the right content
• Planning the ongoing content pipeline so they are building the volume, type, and quality of content for ongoing ads and organic social media
Requirements
• 3-5+ years of experience working with content creators and influencers with a proven track record of success
• Experience collaborating with paid media teams and creating content that drives ROI in ad campaigns
• Experience with building or managing a paid influencer programs
• Strategic thinker - must be able to execute but also strategically think and be a thought-leader
• Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable content strategies
• Experience in beauty/skincare is a plus
• Comfortable managing 1-2 direct reports
