WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Nike is looking for an early-career software engineer eager to grow into a full-stack developer. You bring foundational knowledge of coding and architecture, with experience in small projects and a hunger to tackle complex systems. Key Qualifications: • Open to work in Beaverton, OR • 0–2 years of software engineering experience • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training • Strong technical and non-technical communication skills • Ability to engage in architectural discussions and apply a learner’s mindset Preferred Technical Skills: • Languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python • Frameworks: React, Express, Apollo • Platforms: Docker, AWS, PostgreSQL WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON You’ll help build and evolve technology experiences that power Nike’s innovation and sports science initiatives. From designing full-stack applications to collaborating on machine learning workflows, you’ll play a key role in creating athlete-facing solutions. Responsibilities: • Partner with senior engineers to design and implement scalable, secure applications • Contribute to web UI development using modular, reactive frameworks • Engage in architectural discussions and provide constructive feedback • Practice DevOps principles for continuous integration and deployment • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, researchers, and data scientists • Review peer code and share insights to strengthen team output • Support the evolution of engineering environments and tools We offer a number of accommodations to complete our interview process including screen readers, sign language interpreters, accessible and single location for in-person interviews, closed captioning, and other reasonable modifications as needed.
