#120925: Prior Authorization Clerk – Pharmacy, Fully Remote - NYS Residency Required (NYS)
We have partnered with a prestigious health insurance company seeking experienced Prior Authorization Clerks to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to bring your expertise to a company devoted to helping Western New York communities live healthier lives. These are fully remote opportunities open to candidates residing in the greater Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse areas.
In this roles, you will be responsible for:
• Processing and completing medication prior authorizations
• Researching and reviewing prescription and medical benefit coverage
• Entering requests into the computer system
• Communicating with pharmacists, providers, and members
• Providing phone coverage for incoming calls
• Other related duties as assigned
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday from 8:30AM-5:00PM. After training, techs will participate in a rotating weekend on-call schedule with brief check-ins to monitor urgent requests only.
Duration:
Temporary through July 2026, with a strong possibility for extension or permanent hire.
Pay Rate:
$21/hr, with health, dental, vision and pet insurance; PTO and holiday pay.
