[Remote] AWS Cloud Architect (GovCloud & FedRAMP)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Vaiticka Solution is seeking an AWS Cloud Architect specializing in GovCloud and FedRAMP. The role involves building secure and scalable AWS architectures, ensuring compliance with FedRAMP standards, and mentoring engineering teams. Responsibilities • Design & Deploy: Build secure, scalable AWS architectures across GovCloud and Commercial regions. • Networking & DNS: Configure VPCs, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, and advanced DNS (Route 53 PHZ, Resolver endpoints, hybrid DNS). • Automation: Use Terraform (or CloudFormation/CDK) for Infrastructure as Code; set up CI/CD pipelines. • Security & Compliance: Implement FedRAMP/NIST 800-53 controls, IAM best practices, encryption, and prepare ATO documentation. • Containers & Serverless: Work with EKS/ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, and microservices patterns. • Operations: Ensure reliability, observability (CloudWatch, Prometheus), cost optimization, and disaster recovery. • Leadership: Act as technical lead, mentor engineers, and collaborate with security/compliance teams. Skills • 8–12+ years of experience (5+ years AWS, 2+ years GovCloud & FedRAMP) • Deep AWS networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53 Resolver, PrivateLink) • Strong Terraform skills for multi-account deployments • Expertise in FedRAMP compliance, NIST 800-53 mapping, and ATO processes • Hands-on with CI/CD, automation, and scripting (Python, Shell) • Knowledge of containers (EKS/ECS), serverless (Lambda), and security tools (KMS, GuardDuty, Config) • U.S. Person eligibility for GovCloud workloads • Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Security Specialty, CISSP/CCSP • Public Trust/Secret clearance preferred Company Overview • Our brand’s primary goal is to offer the necessary recruitment solutions to our corporate clients.
