Startup Operations Manager – Part-Time (Remote)

About Us TheFutureSociety LLC is a rapidly scaling spiritual media and technology company operating GreatAwakener.com and The Tarot Ship w/ Jimmy, reaching a global audience of 270K+ subscribers with weekly livestream classes, astrology and tarot forecasts, and premium community offerings. We are expanding into new digital products and intuitive technologies, including MAX: Your Virtual Oracle Gateway™, an AI-driven personalized astrology engine.As we grow, we need a strong operator who can create structure, keep the (small but mighty) team aligned, and ensure execution across multiple product lines so the Founder can stay focused on content creation, strategy, and community leadership. Role Overview We’re hiring a part-time Operations Manager who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments. You will be the hub of day-to-day execution—coordinating people, processes, and priorities—and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. This role blends project management, team coordination, and operational problem-solving within a creative, digital-first company. What You’ll Do • Manage daily operations across content production, livestreams, publishing calendars, launches, and product rollouts • Keep the cross-functional team aligned (editorial, research, support, developers, contractors) with clear priorities and deliverables • Coordinate classes, collaborations, and guest instructors; manage schedules, assets, and follow-through • Track weekly KPIs (membership growth, churn, engagement, production timelines) and raise red flags early • Optimize and maintain simple, reliable systems (Notion, Slack, Make.com dashboards, etc.) • Own communication loops: follow-ups, reminders, meeting notes, action items, and accountability • Support onboarding for new team members, instructors, and partners • Protect the Founder’s time by monitoring workflow, removing blockers, and anticipating needs before they arise Who You Are • Operations or project management background (startup, media, tech, or creator economy experience welcomed) • Hyper-organized, proactive, consistent, and dependable • Excellent communicator who moves projects forward with clarity and calm • Comfortable learning new tools, managing asynchronous teams, and adapting as priorities shift • Able to manage multiple concurrent projects without micromanagement • Thrives in a creative, mission-driven environment and enjoys supporting a large online community Compensation • Approximately 25 hours per week (about 5 hours/day; flexible schedule) • $5,000/month retainer • Long-term growth role within a fast-expanding company How to Apply Please submit: 1.
