Instructional Designer/eLearning Developer (Powtoon Expertise), 3 Months, 100% Virtual Our payroll and benefits software client is seeking a skilled and creative Instructional Designer/eLearning Developer to support their customer experience learning academy as follows: • Creating high-quality video content using Powtoon and internal AI tools for both internal training and customer support. • Accelerate video production and ensure consistent, reusable, scalable visual frameworks. • Create customer-facing video assets for mass communications and customer help center. • Improve accessibility and engagement for internal and external audiences. • Create scalable templates and visual systems to reduce future production timelines. The goal is to have a series of Powtoon microlearning modules that will help customers with common questions and thus reduce customer service inquiries. Content for these assets exists in current training, the client’s knowledge base, and if needed via internal stakeholders and SME’s. Skills & Experience Requirements: • 8+ years’ experience in Instructional Design and Development and strong knowledge of adult learning principles, best practices, and current trends for engaging and effective eLearning. • 5+ years pronounced experience creating visually appealing, modern, and interactive eLearning. • Must be proficient with Powtoon (client will provide laptop and any necessary licenses). • Able to share excellent video inclusive work samples either via a portfolio or during an unrecorded Zoom meeting with the client. • Experience in related products (payroll or benefits software) highly preferred. • Able to work independently, patiently, and effectively in an environment that can be ambiguous and dynamic. • Background check required for chosen consultant • Start: Mid-December targeted. Duration: 3 months with possibility of extension. Hours: 40 hours per week working during normal business hours in any US time zone. Location: 100% virtual. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
