Job Description Overview • Lead the development of advanced computer vision algorithms for autonomous systems in dynamic environments. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate vision solutions into hardware platforms. • Design and optimize machine learning models for resource-constrained embedded systems. • Ensure high accuracy and reliability of vision algorithms through rigorous testing protocols. • Contribute to transitioning prototypes to military-grade deployments and adapting systems to various platforms. • Mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge sharing within the team. • Support multi-sensor fusion efforts for enhanced autonomous system capabilities. • Work remotely with flexible collaboration opportunities. Key Responsibilities & Duties • Develop and optimize real-time computer vision algorithms for autonomous target identification and engagement. • Design machine learning models tailored for embedded systems with constrained resources. • Collaborate with electrical and systems engineers to integrate vision solutions into turret hardware. • Execute testing protocols to validate algorithm performance across diverse scenarios. • Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal knowledge base development. • Assist in transitioning prototypes to military-grade deployments and adapting systems to different platforms. • Support multi-sensor fusion efforts for autonomous system enhancements. • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in algorithm development. Job Requirements • Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with specialization in ML or computer vision. • 7+ years of experience developing and deploying computer vision systems, preferably in robotics or safety-critical environments. • Proficiency in Python and C++, and familiarity with ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch. • Experience with embedded systems and deploying vision algorithms on constrained hardware. • Knowledge of multi-sensor fusion techniques for autonomous systems. • Collaborative mindset with proven experience mentoring engineers and driving technical solutions. • Ability to design and execute rigorous testing protocols for algorithm validation. • Passion for machine learning, computer vision, and robotics.
