Hiring a Data Analyst with Financial Reporting Experience
I am looking for a skilled Data Analyst who can assist with organizing datasets, performing basic financial analysis, and preparing clear, well-structured reports. The goal is to convert raw information into meaningful insights that support decision-making.
This is a remote, fixed-scope project that will be completed entirely through Upwork.
Responsibilities:
Clean and structure datasets (Excel or Google Sheets)
Perform financial ratio analysis and trend analysis
Build dashboards using Excel (pivot tables, charts, formulas)
Summarize key insights in a written report
Prepare simple data visualizations to support findings
Ensure accuracy, clarity, and professionalism in all deliverables
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, LOOKUP functions, charts)
Experience in financial analysis or business analytics
Ability to communicate insights clearly in written format
Strong attention to detail
Must communicate and deliver work through Upwork, per platform policy
Deliverables:
Cleaned dataset
Financial analysis summary
Excel dashboard/visuals
Insight report (1–3 pages)
