The Good CFO is seeking an experienced Strategic AI Consultant for Marketing Firms to join our team and help marketing agency clients harness the transformative power of artificial intelligence. This role combines strategic AI expertise with hands-on implementation skills to accelerate technology adoption that solves real operational and client challenges. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor, translating complex AI capabilities into practical business solutions that drive efficiency, enhance client outcomes, and create competitive advantages for our agency partners. Key Responsibilities for a Strategic AI Consultant Strategy & Advisory • Assess client readiness and identify high-impact AI implementation opportunities across agency operations • Develop comprehensive AI roadmaps aligned with business objectives and operational needs • Guide leadership teams through AI adoption frameworks and change management processes • Provide strategic counsel on AI vendor selection, build-vs-buy decisions, and technology investments Implementation & Execution • Design and oversee implementation of AI solutions for creative production, media planning, campaign optimization, and client reporting • Establish AI governance frameworks, including ethical guidelines, data privacy protocols, and quality assurance processes • Create training programs and documentation to ensure successful technology adoption across client organizations • Monitor AI solution performance and optimize implementations for maximum ROI Client Operations Support • Integrate AI solutions with existing agency workflows, financial systems, and reporting structures • Collaborate with The Good CFO's finance and operations teams to measure AI impact on profitability and efficiency • Support clients in developing AI-related service offerings and pricing strategies • Assist with client presentations and proposals that incorporate AI capabilities Industry Leadership • Stay current with AI technology trends, tools, and best practices relevant to marketing agencies • Represent The Good CFO at industry events, conferences, and thought leadership opportunities • Contribute to content marketing efforts through case studies, whitepapers, and speaking engagements Required Qualifications for a Strategic AI Consultant • Experience: Consulting in AI/ML, implementation, or product management, with at least 2 years in marketing, advertising, or creative industries • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of AI/ML fundamentals, generative AI applications, marketing technology stacks, and data integration challenges • Platform Knowledge: Hands-on experience with AI tools across multiple categories such as: • Creative & Video Production • Campaign Optimization • Content Creation • SEO, AEO & Content Optimization • Audience Targeting • Predictive Analytics • Social Media Management • Customer Service & Chat • Ad Buying & Media • Business Acumen: Proven track record of translating technical capabilities into business value and ROI • Agency Knowledge: Deep familiarity with marketing agency operations, workflows, client relationships, and financial structures • Communication: Exceptional ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Project Management: Experience leading cross-functional technology implementations from strategy through execution Preferred Qualifications for a Strategic AI Consultant • MBA or advanced degree in business, technology, or related field • Certifications in major AI/ML platforms (Google Cloud AI, AWS AI/ML, Microsoft AI, etc.) • Prior consulting experience with professional services firms • Background in marketing operations, MarTech, or advertising technology • Experience with agency management systems, financial reporting tools, and creative production workflows About The Good CFO The Good CFO is a specialized consulting firm serving as a one-stop operations hub for marketing, advertising, and creative agencies of all sizes.
