Regulatory Research Analyst – Mortgage Servicing Compliance (Federal Guidelines)
We are building an AI-powered compliance tool for the mortgage servicing industry and need a Regulatory Research Analyst to gather, summarize, and organize federal servicing rules.
Responsibilities include:
• Researching and summarizing federal servicing guidelines (CFPB, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHFA, HUD/FHA).
• Identifying borrower communication timelines, loss mitigation rules, foreclosure timelines, escrow requirements, and fee limits.
• Structuring rules in spreadsheets with categories and conditional triggers.
• Tracking regulatory changes and producing weekly updates.
Requirements:
• Strong legal/regulatory research skills.
• Mortgage servicing or financial compliance experience preferred.
• Ability to turn complex regulations into clear steps.
• Reliable communication and fast turnaround.
