Freelance ABM (Account Based Marketing) Strategist / Consultant / Campaign Architect

We are building a freelance talent bench to support our expanding Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and demand generation initiatives. We’re seeking a seasoned ABM Strategist/Consultant who can architect smart, scalable campaigns that drive pipeline impact.
Role Overview
We need an expert who can translate business goals into a full ABM strategy, provide a repeatable campaign framework, and guide execution in collaboration with our marketing and sales teams. This role is ideal for a senior strategist with hands-on B2B ABM experience, strong messaging capabilities, and familiarity with modern permission-based engagement tactics.
Key Responsibilities
-ABM Strategy & Framework Development
-Translate company growth goals into an actionable ABM framework
-Define Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP) and develop a messaging hierarchy
-Architect a campaign blueprint for one vertical or priority account
-Develop an ICP/messaging matrix tailored to buyer roles and pain points
-Advise on content sequencing, personalization layers, and creative direction
-Campaign Architecture & Advisory
-Map the full ABM motion across TOF → MOF → BOF
-Recommend modern engagement tactics beyond email (permission-aware plays)
-Identify top account triggers, buying signals, and activation strategies
-Help shape a repeatable campaign playbook we can scale to additional verticals
MarTech & HubSpot Advisory
-Guide HubSpot activation for ABM workflows, scoring, and reporting
-Recommend how to leverage automation to accelerate demand and lead generation
-Deliverables May Include
-ABM strategy brief
-Campaign blueprint for one vertical/target account
-ICP + messaging matrix
-Recommended content and channel plan
-Optimization recommendations for future sprints
Required Experience
-5–10+ years in B2B ABM, Demand Gen, or Growth Strategy
-Proven experience generating pipeline and revenue from ABM programs
-Strong strategic thinking—able to see beyond the tactical checklist
-Experience working with sales organizations to align account strategy
-Understanding of permission-based marketing and non-email engagement routes
Bonus Skills (Highly Valuable)
-Copywriting skills
-Ability to draft messaging, email sequences, or landing page concepts
-Comfortable collaborating with designers, writers, and sales teams
-HubSpot certification or strong hands-on familiarity
