Rewrite Ghostwritten Project
Ghostwriter Needed – Creative Rewrite of a Superhero Novel (Ted Lasso Vibes / Ensemble Cast Drama)
Project Type: Long-term creative collaboration (Book 1 rewrite + potential future books)
Genre: YA Superhero / Character-Driven / Emotional Adventure
⸻
About the Project
I’m looking for a deeply creative writer to help me rebuild my superhero story from the ground up — not just to polish it, but to re-imagine it.
I already have a full cast of developed characters, emotional arcs, and a rough sense of where the story is headed across several books. What I need now is a writer who can take these characters and make them truly come alive — shaping a new, cohesive journey for them with fresh structure, tone, and heart.
This isn’t a job for someone who just “fixes” a manuscript. I’m looking for a storyteller who wants to make this their own, while still honoring the vision and emotional spirit of the world I’ve built.
⸻
Tone & Inspiration
If you’re a fan of Ted Lasso, you’ll get it immediately — it’s not a show about soccer; it’s a story about people, growth, and belonging, using soccer as the emotional backdrop.
That’s what I want for this project.
My book isn’t just about heroes with powers — it’s about found family, hope, failure, and self-worth, all wrapped in an action-packed world that still feels real and human.
Think:
• Ted Lasso – for ensemble warmth and layered relationships
• Avatar: The Last Airbender – for spiritual depth and growth
• Guardians of the Galaxy – for humor, teamwork, and heart
⸻
What You’ll Get
• Detailed character sheets with emotional arcs, traits, and visual references
• A loose book-by-book outline showing where the overall story could go
• Creative freedom to reconstruct Book 1’s story and direction — pacing, tone, structure, and worldbuilding are all open for re-imagination
• Ongoing collaboration if we connect well (future books, spinoffs, or expansions possible)
⸻
What I’m Looking For
• A writer who loves ensemble casts and emotional storytelling
• Someone comfortable reworking or reinventing existing material
• Deep understanding of theme-driven narrative (stories that mean something)
• Ability to balance heart, humor, and cinematic action
• (Big plus!) If you’re familiar with Ted Lasso, The Good Place, or Arcane
