Creative Writer with a Sense of Humor (Ads & Storytelling) - Contract to Hire
We’re hiring a creative storyteller to help us develop funny, engaging ideas for ecommerce ads and short-form content.
This is not a traditional copywriting role. We’re not looking for formula-based frameworks or AI-only outputs. We want people who can naturally think in stories, humor, timing, and relatable moments — and turn those into ad concepts that actually sell.
We work in direct-to-consumer ecommerce, creating ads and UGC-style content where personality and storytelling matter more than textbook marketing rules.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Writing short comedic stories, skits, or ad concepts
• Creating hooks and narratives for ecommerce ads
• Developing creative angles for short-form and UGC-style content
• Collaborating with editors and strategists to refine ideas
What We’re Looking For
• Strong storytelling and comedic instinct
• Clear, conversational English
• Original thinking (no generic or AI-sounding writing)
• Familiarity with short-form content or ecommerce ads
