Mental Health Therapist (Fully Remote, Flexible Hours) Emora Health | Independent Contractor (1099) About Emora Health: Emora Health provides virtual behavioral therapy to children, teens, young adults, and their families. We support ages 5 through 30, focusing on ADHD, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, and related concerns. What makes this role different • Guaranteed hourly pay, every two weeks, regardless of insurance reimbursement • 50% compensation for client no-shows • 100% schedule autonomy — set your hours, choose your caseload, evenings and weekends available (but not mandatory) • Minimal admin work thanks to built-in AI-enabled note tools and structured note templates • One unified dashboard for scheduling, messaging, notes, and client management • Credentialing fully handled by Emora • Low-acuity clients + ability to customize which ages and conditions you work with • Flexible session lengths (30, 45, or 60 minutes) • Option to bring your own clients (for an improved rate) to manage everything on one platform • No mandatory meetings • Support when you need it — access to our Clinical Director for case consultation and crisis situations This role is built for therapists who want meaningful clinical work without unnecessary administrative overhead. What You’ll Do • Provide 100% telehealth therapy to children, teens, young adults, and/or families • Conduct intakes, therapy sessions, and ongoing treatment planning • Collaborate with our Clinical Director as needed for complex or crisis cases • Complete documentation efficiently using built-in AI tools • Customize your clinical preferences so we can match you with clients aligned to your expertise Your Schedule & Caseload • Minimum of 5 hours/week, with the option to build up to a full caseload • Weekends and evenings are available but never required • You choose the ages, conditions, and session types you want to work with Qualifications • Active associate license in North Carolina (LCMHCA, LMFTA, LCSWA, Clinical Psychologist, or equivalent) • 2+ years experience treating children/teens and their families • Strong foundation in CBT and evidence-based treatment delivered via telehealth • Experience with ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, and related conditions • Enjoys autonomy and working in a supportive virtual environment • Spanish bilingual is a plus How We Support You • Fast onboarding — you can be set up and live within just a few days • Full credentialing with major insurance plans (excluding Medicaid) • Private-pay clients included • Transparent and responsive operational support team • No billing, no insurance paperwork, no chasing claims Our Clinical Culture We believe great care comes from empowered clinicians.
