Business Development Representative (BDR) - Channel Sales

About the Role THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION! ComTec Systems is hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive outbound prospecting, channel partner development, and pipeline growth. This high-impact role is ideal for a performance-driven BDR or SDR who wants hands-on exposure to channel sales, strong earning potential, and a clear path into sales leadership. You will own the front end of the sales process by identifying and qualifying reseller, referral, and partner opportunities, booking discovery meetings, and working closely with senior channel leadership to grow revenue. Compensation & On-Target Earnings (OTE) • Base Salary: $50,000–$70,000 • OTE: $70,000–$90,000 • Uncapped commission and performance-based bonuses • Quarterly bonuses for discovery meetings and new partner sign-ups • 3% commission on profit for direct sales opportunities originated • Accelerators for exceeding targets What You’ll Do • Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn • Identify, qualify, and recruit channel partners (MSPs, VARs, telecom agents, referral partners) • Book qualified discovery meetings for senior channel managers • Build and nurture early-stage partner relationships • Support onboarding and activation of new channel partners • Track outreach, activity, and pipeline in Salesforce CRM • Collaborate with sales and marketing on co-selling and partner initiatives • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly BDR KPIs and quota targets 30 / 60 / 90-Day 30 Days: Product training, sales process mastery, outbound cadence 60 Days: Consistent meeting generation and partner recruitment 90 Days: Full KPI attainment and pipeline contribution The Ideal Candidate • 2–5 years of experience as a BDR, SDR, or inside sales professional • Proven success with outbound prospecting and lead qualification • Comfortable working in a quota-driven sales environment • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) • Preferred: Experience in UCaaS, telecom, SaaS, MSP, VAR, or technology services Career Growth • Clear path to Channel Development Manager and Senior Channel Development Manager • Leadership exposure and mentorship from senior sales leaders • Opportunity to build and manage a team based on performance Key Skills Business Development Representative (BDR), SDR, Outbound Sales, Prospecting, Lead Generation, Channel Sales, Partner Sales, Salesforce CRM, UCaaS, Telecom, Technology Services, Pipeline Management Why ComTec Systems • Growing technology and UCaaS services provider • Structured onboarding and performance ramp • Transparent compensation and advancement path • High-visibility role with direct revenue impact EOE Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
