Oncology Business Development Associate – PA, NY/NJ Region
Job Description:
• Contribute to the Oncology Sales team daily activities and assist in executing sales initiatives
• Maintain good customer relations and pursue new business opportunities
• Perform account management duties, identifying new customer leads and performing cold calling
• Participate in sales pitches and assist in implementing new ideas to promote Company products
• Respond quickly to all leads identified as potential sales opportunities
• Provide strong customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
• Utilize strong sales reporting skills, maintaining accurate records of sales activities
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the Oncology management team
• Assist in researching and analyzing factors that affect sales strategies
• Participate in promotional activities such as trade shows and seminars
• Assist in preparation and development of responses to RFPs and grant opportunities.
• Maintain safe, clean and orderly work area and promote safety regulations
Requirements:
• A Life Science/ Business Bachelor's or Master's Degree
• 1-2 years of prior relevant experience with clinical trials, a plus
• Relevant experience with a Contract Research Organization, a plus
• Strong interest in the oncology field
• An ability to cultivate and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
• Knowledge of oncology, pharma or CRO space, a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the designated territory.
