Assistant/Associate Sustainability Analyst

Company Description Job Description This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio. What Will You Be Doing? • Teaming up with Sustainability in various capacities, from scheduling and reviewing social audits to tracking and reviewing production documentation. • Support our ongoing ESG initiatives by collaborating internally and cross-functionally across the organization to collect, analyze, and report data in support of disclosures • Team up with Sustainability to support the improvement of internal data controls and processes and collection of Sustainability initiatives, KPI's and metrics for internal progress and public reporting • Partner with IT and various teams to improve the efficiency of data collection, existing systems, and connectivity to promote a consolidated source • Engage with stakeholders in the environmental space, including trade associations, brands, service providers, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) • Track the ongoing, emerging ESG regulatory landscape in the US, EU, and globally to identify and analyze reporting requirements to ensure A&F Co.'s ongoing preparedness and compliance • Partner with vendors and sustainability team members in other time zones What Do You Need To Bring? • Bachelor's Degree or related experience • Broad knowledge in ESG with a proven track record of responding to sustainability ratings, rankings and setting sustainability goals, with realized benefits through program implementation • Oversee a diverse set of reporting resources and help drive the transformation of the current sustainability reporting structure • 1 year minimum of professional experience in Sustainability, ESG /Compliance Reporting, or Project Management is preferred • Advanced PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint familiarity with ESG dashboard platforms • Ability to manage multiple projects and associated timelines on a parallel track to prioritize various workstreams • Experience managing external vendor partnerships as well as data collection, validation and assurance • Familiarity with apparel business and supply chain operations preferred Our Company Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is a global, digitally led omnichannel specialty retailer of apparel and accessories catering to kids through millennials with assortments curated for their specific lifestyle needs.
